Zithromax is an oral drug from the class of macrolide antibiotics used for treating various infections in our body caused by certain bacteria. Zithromax works for ear infections, throat infections, lung infections and skin infections(eg, otitis media, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia) and for sexually transmitted infections as well (eg, cervicitis). Zithromax doesn't fight against any viral infections. The drug can be used in other cases, if prescribed by a doctor.

How Taken
Follow strictly your doctor's prescriptions, while using this drug. Take the pill with a glass of water, with or without food. Don't chew or crash before swallowing, swallow the whole pill. You will benefit most from the regular use of the drug. Take it at the same time each day. Don't stop before you take the whole course, even if you feel better. Consult your doctor about possible side effects and drug interactions.
